Welcome to GTTP — a programme under TTET (Travel and Tourism Education Trust), Global Tours and Travels Partnership (the “Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of every user on our platform. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your personal information when you use the GTTP mobile application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
This Policy applies to all users including Students, Faculty, Principals, Coordinators, and Administrators. By downloading or using the GTTP app, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.
We collect personal information directly from you, from your educational institution, and automatically when you use the Platform.
To provide our educational tracking and reporting services, we collect the following:
Identity & Contact Data: Full name, email address, mobile phone number, and profile photo (avatar).
Educational Data: Enrolled course, class assignment, school/institute name, and academic progress metrics (Theory, Practical, Internship, and Visits completion).
Sensitive Identity Data: Passport number and passport expiration date. Collected solely for international student identification and global program eligibility under the GTTP framework.
Parent / Guardian Data: If you are a minor, we collect your Parent/Guardian’s Name and Mobile Number for emergency contact and consent purposes.
Submissions & Reports: Coursework titles and descriptions, practical and internship report submissions, and attached files (PDF, DOCX, PNG, JPG).
Technical Data: IP address and device technical information collected via Google Fonts and embedded YouTube content, per their respective privacy policies.
Account Management: Create and manage your secure account; verify identity via OTP.
Educational Tracking: Monitor and record your academic progress across all courses and modules.
Certification & Export: Generate official GTTP completion certificates; enable authorized staff to export student progress reports.
Communication: Send notices, event updates, and administrative messages.
Security & Auditing: Protect platform integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
We do NOT sell your personal data. Data is shared only on a strict need-to-know, role-based access model:
Within Your Institution: Your profile, contact details, and course progress are visible only to authorized Faculty, Coordinators, and Principals assigned to your specific school.
Platform Administrators: Super Admins and Admins have platform-wide access to manage the system and generate aggregate reports.
Data Exports: Authorized personnel may export student datasets (including passport numbers and contact details) as CSV or PDF for official administrative purposes only.
Service Providers: Our backend is hosted on servers in India. Third-party infrastructure providers may process data under strict confidentiality agreements.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental/regulatory request.
On-Device Encryption: Authentication tokens and cached profile data are secured using AES encryption via iOS Keychain (Apple) and Android EncryptedSharedPreferences (Google).
Transit Encryption: All data between the GTTP app and our servers at admin.gttpindia.org is protected using HTTPS/TLS encryption.
Offline Sync: Reports submitted without internet access are stored temporarily on-device and synced securely once connectivity is restored.
We retain your personal information — including passport details and parent/guardian contact data — for as long as your account is active or as needed to deliver educational services and maintain academic records.
Upon graduation, leaving the institution, or requesting account deletion, your data will be archived or permanently deleted in accordance with applicable academic record compliance requirements. Deletion requests are processed within 7 business days of receipt.
The GTTP platform may enroll students under the age of 18. For minor users, we collect Parent/Guardian contact information to ensure appropriate parental oversight and consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child’s data has been collected without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately at info@gttpindia.org.
Depending on your country or region, you may have the right to:
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correct: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Delete: Request erasure of your data (subject to academic record-keeping obligations).
Export: Receive a portable copy of your data.
Withdraw: Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

In compliance with Apple App Store guidelines, Google Play Store Data Safety requirements, and applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023), all users of the GTTP platform have the right to request permanent deletion of their account and all associated personal data.
You may request account deletion through any of the following methods:
In-App Request: Navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account within the GTTP app and follow the on-screen steps.
Email Request: Send an email to info@gttpindia.org with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”. Include your full name, registered email address, and Student/User ID.
Official Form: Complete and submit the GTTP Account Deletion Request Form, available within the app or from your institution’s Coordinator/Principal.
Via Your Institution: Contact your assigned Faculty, Coordinator, or Principal to initiate deletion on your behalf.
Certain data may be retained after account deletion only where required by law or for legitimate academic record compliance:
Academic Records: Aggregated or anonymised academic progress data may be retained for institutional reporting purposes only.
Legal Obligations: Data required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or court orders will be retained for the legally required period.
Fraud Prevention: Minimal data may be retained for up to 90 days to prevent fraudulent re-registration.
For accounts belonging to users under 18 years of age, the deletion request must be accompanied by Parent/Guardian authorisation. A Parent/Guardian may also independently submit a deletion request on behalf of their child by contacting info@gttpindia.org.
GTTP course modules may include embedded YouTube videos or links to external websites. This Privacy Policy does not cover those third-party services. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any external site you visit through the app.
Third-party services used: Google Fonts (typography), YouTube (embedded course videos).
GTTP — Global Tours and Travels Partnership operates with servers located in India. If you access the platform from outside India, your data may be transferred to and processed in India. By using the GTTP app, you consent to such transfer in accordance with this Policy.
In compliance with Apple’s App Store guidelines and App Privacy requirements, the following data types are collected by GTTP:
App Tracking Transparency (ATT): GTTP does not use Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency framework because the app does not track users across other companies’ apps or websites. No ATT permission prompt is shown.
No Cross-App Tracking: The app does NOT track users across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes.
No Targeted Advertising: The app does NOT use data for targeted advertising.
Account Deletion: Users can request deletion in-app (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or via email to info@gttpindia.org.
In compliance with Google Play’s Data Safety requirements:
Third-Party SDK Disclosure: The data types and purposes listed above, including those attributable to embedded third-party SDKs (Google Fonts, YouTube), are reflected consistently in our Play Console Data Safety form.
Data is not sold to third parties.
Data is not used for advertising or marketing.
Users can request deletion at any time via in-app settings or by emailing info@gttpindia.org.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest on-device (AES).
Global Tours and Travels Partnership may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal obligations. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Policy within the GTTP app, sending an in-app or push notification, and updating the Effective Date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
